Girls Night Out

Last night we had a girls night out. We had Becca, Baylie, Cami, Shaersti & Anne- a group of really excited girls. We did a lot of fun things and everyone had a blast.
We made cupckakes...
Played games and wrestled....
Ate pizza...
Did GIRL things...
Slept over in one big bed...

Painted our toes and fingers...
And had a bubble bath.

I've never done a video so I hope this works. This is a small glimpse into what the girls did all night. They must have ran around the kitchen chasing each other 200 times.

Becca's Baptism

Rebecca, my little (and only) sister just turned 8. Best of all, she got baptized. Isn't she cute? Amelia went to her house before church and did her hair and she did a great job. Becca- you are such a loving little girl and I'm proud of the awesome decision you made to be baptized. Thanks for being such a great aunt to my little girls.

The Annual Emett Pumpkin Party

Every year we have a big pumpkin party where we eat chili and carve pumpkins. We line up our pumpkins and cheer for everyone's pumpkin then we go to a huge prize bucket and get to choose prizes. It's always a lot of fun. Thanks, mom, for continuing such a fun tradition in our family.
Anneliese next to all the pumpkins. Scott helped her carve the one closest to her foot. Everyone's beautiful creations.
Shaersti is pointing at her pumpkin on the top right that she carved all by herself.

I'm using a cheat sheet- naughty mom!

Anne carving away.

Shaersti's cute pumpkin.

This is a totally inappropriate picture but I just had to post it. This is Shaersti's little bum and her dirty feet. This is how she always looks after an hour at Grandma Jill's- her favorite place in the world.

From left to right, this is Josh, Kolby, Ben and Zach all carving silly pumpkins- we still have no idea what a few of them were.

Caramel Apples

Once again, we (the creators!!!) got together to make more yummy food. These caramel apples only turned out beautiful thanks to Amelia. We all enjoyed eating them, though.
Baylie (Amelia's) and Anne eating the apples they decorated.

Making Sugar Cookies

Me, my mom, Amelia and a few of our kids got together to make sugar cookies. My mom makes the best sugar cookies in the world and it's alwyas fun (and yummy) to make them. The kids had a blast, made a huge mess and used all the sprinkles!
Shaertsi coated hers in frosting (of course). Max (Jason and Amelia's boy) dumped an entire bottle of sprinkles on one cookie!

Anneliese just liked playing with the dough in the flour.

What a fun mess!
