New Year's Eve

We got to host the New Year's Eve party at our house, although Karen totally did it all.
I love this picture of Brett John and Grandpa Mac with their little party blowers at midnight!
We had an awesome fondue dinner...

played the laughing game (hahaha)...

and played Headbandz.
It was a super fun night!

Christmas Day

I love Christmas morning. It's so peaceful and beautiful for a small monent, then it's pure excited chaos.

Brigham loved his new 4-wheeler. I don't believe he got off it for weeks.

As soon as we have opened the presents under our tree, the kids run right to grandma's.

Then of course we have our annual
CRAB CRACK.
Best dinner ever!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is such a splendid, magical night. My parents always made it that way for me, and I hope my kids feel the same way.
We have an awesome, formal dinner to start our night. Then the kids do a nativity play (which gets a little silly out of excitement). One of the best parts is opening our Christmas pajamas. It's a race to see who can open their jamas and have them on their bodies first. There is no modesty in any way!!! We always do a present exchange between my siblings and get a present from grandpa. Then it's off to bed so Santa can come.

Wrapping Baby

Aydree loved getting to be a part of the Christmas wrapping!

Grandpa's Birthday

When it's time to celebrate grandpa's birthday, you know Christmas is really close. I think my dad was born on December 22nd because I'm not sure if anyone loves Christmas as much as he does.
My dad is such an awesome guy. He is so selfless when it comes to his family and loves nothing more than to spoil us all. I'm so grateful to be a part of his family. I'm so grateful that he lets me know I have a special place in his life as his daughter. I love you, dad!

Grandpa's Late Night

The best night of the whole year!!!
Grandpa takes all the grandkids and spoils them rotten while the parents get a Christmas shopping date night. What could be better than that?
They get matching jamas...

a treasure hunt with prizes...

way fun activities...

and even a great dinner!
Thanks so much, mom and dad, for having such an awesome tradition. We all look forward to it all year long.

Miscellaneous December 2013 Pics

With lots of snow comes lots of hot chocolate.

That's 2 pretty cute guys! It's amazing to me that Brigham can look just like his dad, and yet so much like his mom's dad.

Once again, Jason gets the best uncle award.

What Christmas gift could be better than a baby? This is brand new baby Macie Emett.

Callie, Anne, Paysli and Brynlee putting on a show.

Bake Night

I sure wish I had a lot more pictures of Bake Night. I get too busy to think about taking pictures. This pic of Paysli just about sums it up... pure deliciousness! On Bake Night we all get together and bake all sorts of awesome treats. Then we mostly just eat them all, right then and there. Anything that survives, gets finished up through the holidays.

Paysli Christmas Program

Paysli's preschool was awesome. Their performances were top notch! I'm so glad she could be a part of such a fun preschool.

Shaersti Turns 9

Everyone always says that time flies. I have surely noticed it flying faster and faster. It's a little out of control, really!
Shaersti is such a great kid. She is so helpful and so responsible. She loves to learn and loves to please. I sure do love her and I'm so grateful to be her mom.

A dog cake. Of course!!!

She had a SUSA swim meet right on her birthday, so we turned it into a party.

Paysli loving Shaersti's party.

Shaersti's birthday race.

Gypsy again

Okay, so there were times that I actually liked the darn dog!

Let it Snow!!!

It's hard to believe that we're still in St. George! We had awesome snow and it lasted for such a long time.

Brigham was in heaven. He would play and play and then suddenly start screaming because his hands were ice cubes.

Our park was so beautiful!

That's what a house is supposed to look like for Christmas.

The kids played and played...

then played some more.
What an awesome snowman!

Shaersti Choir Performance

I know... it's really hard to see anything in this picture. However, now it's documented that Shaersti did indeed sing in the elementery choir in 3rd grade!

Festival of Trees

We love to see the awesome creativity at the Festival of Trees!

November 2013 Miscellaneous Pics

Awesome Happy Meal Toys!

Boys will be boys!

We have such a great dad!

Brynlee and Brigham have the very definition of a love/hate relationship. This picture shows it well.

Heaven forbid we just push a chair up to the kitchen counter.

Grandpa and Aydree

It's always been interesting to live with so many boys. They never dissapoint!
