Brigham's Blessing

I am so thankful for all the great support we had for Brigham's blessing this week. We took up half of the middle aisles in sacrament meeting. Scott did a great job (although he gets terribly nervous) and we had a great lunch afterward and got to visit with everyone. It was an excellent day!
I wasn't so sure that I loved boy blessing clothes but after having him in his, I have to admit that they are pretty darling. It was so much fun to have a little boy get blessed for a change.
Isn't he such a doll? I'm pretty whooped!

My Amazing Husband

Scott ran the St. George Marathon for the 2nd time. I think he is amazing because he never trains more than 5 miles. He just heads out there and runs a marathon. He got 4:37, beating his time last year. I am so thankful for him and proud of this awesome accomplishment.

Hero Hunt

This is a terrible picture, but it still needed to be blogged. Each month Shaersti's school gives out a "Hero Hunt" award to one child in each class. Shaersti got the award this month for Friendship. We went to her assembly and it was fun to see kids get awards for various things. Shaersti loves to play with friends more than anything else and she is a good friend. We are proud of her.

Anneliese Turns 5

Although she could easily pass for 3, our little Anne just turned 5. She is so much fun to have in our house. She is very tender-hearted and emotional and she is great at taking are of other people. If any one of us tries to leave (including Shaersti going to school), she has to give us hugs and kisses at least 3 times. We have learned it's just best to let her and avoid the emotional fit that follows if we don't. She loves to play with friends, color, and play games. She also loves new clothes and is very particular about what she wears. She is very, very tiny but doesn't like getting called little. If you are having a bad day, she's the very best person to to get snuggles from. We love you Anne!
Anne had her first "friend" party. She had the fine privilege of Grandpa Scott coming over to play Simon Says with her friends. He also sang primary songs and played other games with them. They all loved it.

Rodeo

We love the rodeo! It has become a family tradition and my kids look forward to it all year. In fact, Anne is sure that it's all for her birthday. And here's the birthday girl:

Paysli and Callie are super cute together.

Hurricane Peach Days

We went to Peach Days in Hurricane to have lunch and listen to my dad play in his band. I was pretty fun. The kids made a Home Depot craft for free and they thought that was way cool.

Have I ever mentioned that I have the best husband in the world?

Shaersti & Briggs

Shaersti loves her little brother and she is so much help with him. She will hold him for hours on end and she will really go out of her way to make him smile. I am so grateful for all of her help and I love to see her taking such good care of her brother.

Baby Pictures

I love newborn baby pictures... and I sure love my new little boy!

Brigham Scott Fuller

Our precious little boy is finally here! Although I was induced, he came in only two and a half hours. He was born on August 25th at 11:19pm. He weighed 7 lbs, 12 oz and was 20 inches long. He is healthy and perfect in every way!

Scott is pretty whooped over his little boy! I don't think there's anything better in the whole world than a dad snuggling his baby.
The girls have all been great with him. The worst thing is the fights over who gets to hold him. Shaersti will hold him for hours and still be mad when you take him away.
I have been worried about how Paysli would react to a new baby but she has been awesome. She can't seem to stop kissing him.
I'm pretty sure he loves her right back.
We are so thankful to have him here, we just couldn't be more blessed!

That's As Round As I Get!

The night before our precious package arrives... and thank heavens!

First Day of School

Summer is finally over and the kids are off to school!
Shaersti is in 1st grade and has been so excited she can hardly stand it. 4 recesses and school lunch... what could be better?

Anne is in a little home preschool across the park, Ms. Susie's. So far she is loving it and she's excited to go every day.
And me? I love having kids in school. I love that they have something to do every day and they don't sit around and tell me how bored they are. I love that they get to spend fun time with other kids and constructive time learning. Then they get to come home and spend time with our family and I have the patience to be a great mom after a little time off!!!

Moms Birthday Cake

Happy Birthday to me! This is my silly (and sweet) girls decorating a birthday cake for me.

Our First Missing Tooth

Shaersti has been waiting and waiting and it finally happened... she lost her first tooth. That is, after she tugged, pulled and tweeked all day. She is super proud!

It's Still A Boy!

Because I had placenta previa, we got to have another ultrasound last week. Everything looks great and our little boy is growing right on schedule (if not a little ahead). We will get to meet him by the end of August and kiss all over those terribly chubby cheeks!

Fuller Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we got to go to our Fuller Family Reunion. As always, it was a lot of fun. Lots of thanks to Jodi and Aimee for pulling it all together! It was at my family's property, Camp Mary, by Bryce Canyon. Dave was brave enough to take a whole bunch of kids for a ride on his awesome machine.
Paysli loved all the attention she got from everyone.
Shaersti was in her own outdoor heaven and never stopped playing.
We hardly ever saw Anne. She was either playing with all her cousins or hanging out in Aimee's trailer with her i-pad.
We had a neat "patriotic emblems" ceremony on July 4th. Stan put on his military uniform and taught us lots of cool things. They taught us the appropriate way to burn a retired flag and brought a whole box of old, used flags for us to burn while they played patriotic music. It was really reverent and a really neat experience.
We went on a short, fun hike and got to play in the water.

We shot shotguns and rifles and had fun contests.

Nothing like a pregnant lady shooting a gun!
And there's really nothing like a cute dad.
Anne was more into relaxing in the shade than shooting. Although... when she gets a gun, she can empty all the bullets in about 5 seconds flat.
The best thing of all was all the time the girls got with their cousins they don't get to see very often.
