More December Pics

My last post in 2014! This is a small taste of Anne's creativity- this is a horse!

And here she is riding her horse.

We went to a new restaurant in town- the Pizza Pie Cafe. After we ate we went into the mall and bought bubblegum out of the machines and the kids played in the car strollers that are locked up. Who knew you could have so much fun in a locked up stroller? This is Brigham, Brynlee, Paysli, Callie, Anne, and Aydree. It's so fun to live so close to our awesome cousins!

Grab Bag

We had our traditional Grab Bag party in St. George this year, which meant no traveling for us. It's definitely a party that we look forward to all year long. Aydree loved it so much!

Everyne brings presents and they get put into wheelbarrows and taken around the circle. When they pass each person takes one present- over and over again.

Brigham made a super hero cape out of his garbage sack.

Every year Liz crochets hats for grab bag. We were super lucky and got a few of them- and the cutest one.

A Long Christmas Day

We had an awesome Christmas day and I have a fun video, but no pictures! Ooops! This is the one great picture I did get... Brigham crashed out right in the middle of the whole mess. He actually fell asleep sitting up with his new helmet on. Funny boy! What an awesome Christmas!

Presents from G&G

I'm not sure how I missed pictures of our amazing dinner, but that's only the beginning of the night. We open presents from eachother and from G&G. We also open our Christmas pajamas and change as fast as we can right in front of everyone.
It's definitely the best night of the year!

Party with the Richins

Our cute friends, the Richins, had a friend Christmas party. It's always fun to go hang out with them. The kids all brought a fun present from home then wrapped them and exchanged them. The adults had their own little exchange, which turned more into gag gifts with a few treasures.

Tuacahn Nativity

Because the nativity at the temple wasn't quite enough, we wnt to the Tuacahn nativity. It's fun to watch the actors play out the scene of  Christ's birth (and with real animals). I'm so grateful to live in beautiful St. George. We have this great small town, yet we still have some great options of things to do.

More Swim

When you have a kid on the swim team, it really takes over a piece of your life. Luckily, she's still only 10. She is the one touching the wall. It's fun to see the aerial view of how far she was ahead. Way to go! 

Temple Nativity

We had a lot of fun getting all bundled up and going to see the temple lights and the nativity. It's a great little reminder of the real reason for Christmas. 

I love my little family! I'm so spoiled to have them.

Bake Night

One of the best pics ever to go with one of the best traditions ever. Not only do I love bake night, I also love the men who are baking. This is Josh, Jeremy, and Scott each tackling their baking assignment. I'm not sure where the women are, but this is great. A huge thanks to G&G Emett for having the best traditions.

Shaersti Turns 10

And like always, she had a dog birthday. Of course, this is the first year she actually had a dog on her birthday.

Her big present was a new bed. It sort of filled up the family room but it was a fun place to celebrate her birthday.

Aside from the bed, she got stuff for Gizmo. Poor dog!!!

Shaersti is an amazing little girl. She knows what she wants and stops at nothing to get it. She has an amazing love for animals, especially dogs. She is an amazing helper and a dang smart kiddo. I sure feel privileged to be her mom.

November Random Pics

My hilarious sister. When will teenagers learn that selfies are really not that flattering? There will be punishments for kids who take my phone and make their terrible face my background pic. How about having that picture placed in my blog book forever? Fair enough!

Thanksgiving

We got to spend our Thanksgiving weekend up north. We stayed at Jan's house and then at stake camp for a night. We love visiting family and we love stake camp! This is Jan's awesome backyard.

This is our little Brigham who just can't slow down when there is anything going on. He is actually sound asleep at the bottom of the stairs.

We enjoyed a night with some of Jan's friends. They had such a great little playroom in their basement. I'm not sure how I missed getting pictures of stake camp. I'm sure I took them so I don't know what happened. We sure enjoy our time there.

I had a huge shopping list for Ikea on the way home. It's probably one of my favorite places in the world, so any excuse will do!
