Paysli's 5th Birthday

My cute little Paysli turned 5! She is so much fun! Everything always has to be fun to her. She often says- I don't want to. Why? Because she can't see the fun in it. I have had to leran new things about being a mom with her. She is stuck right between the big girls and the babies at our house. Sometimes I feel bad for her, but sometimes she gets to do everything. Despite always wanting to have fun and be social, she is a homebody and loves to just play at home with her sisters.
I sure love this little girl!

Paysli got to have her bithday party at Grandma Jill's

She got a 2nd little party at Grandma Karen's pool.

Lagoon- June 2014

Yes, this is my son in a pink carseat. It's really hard to have 5 sisters! I could just talk about Lagoon, but it doesn't come without a total of 10 hours in the van. We decided to take a trip to Salt Lake and enjoy some of the fun things there. My kids loved Lagoon!

The little kiddy rides were the best! There were hardly any lines and we played there for most of the day- seeing as how I have 5 small kids.

My dad and mom decided to come with us. They were tending Addi for the weekdn so we got her, too. This is Paysli, Anne and Addi.

Prett cute girls!

Aydree was totally happy to just walk around.

Brigham loved the cars and rode them over and over.

Little Ms. Addi

Is the train ride really that bad?

Cutest dad ever!

Gotta love the gorilla

And this is what the end of a long day at Lagoon looks like!
We had so much fun on this trip.

McDonald's

My blog couldn't possibly be complete if I didn't do a post about McDonald's. You see... Grandma Jill loves McDonald's, so we all love McDonald's. It's so fabulous to go out to lunch with her and actually get time to talk because all of the kids are happily playing, or eating ice cream.
Thanks, Grandma Jill, for sharing your love with us and for so freely inviting us and paying for us and making it something my kids will always remember.

Brigham asks about McDonald's all the time, mostly because he knows that grandma will take him.

Somehow ice cream is always in the plans.

2014 Havasupai

This is a long post... only because it's my favorite vacation ever! I wanted to use lots more pictures than I used. So, sit tight...
This is Josh contemplating the jump while Fuller jumps- to the left.

This is Josh jumping- to the right.

This is Josh getting help out of the river with a shattered leg.

Not the best pat of the trip

Josh hanging out at the cafe because he couldn't fly out until the next morning. Hey... at least he got to ride in a helicopter and din't even have to hike out. Okay, probably not worth the surgery and hospital bills.

Back to the good stuff... awesome Havasupai

Scott and Ben and a beautiful waterfall

Beautiful Michelle and Kjirsten

Maybe we were taking too much advantage of the awesome scenery. Can you blame us?

Scott and Ben showering

Love these pics!!! This is Ben

and Scott and Ben.

This is all while Josh hung out in the cafe. Poor kid! Thank heavens it was the last day anyway.

Beautiful- the scenery, too!

There's lots of hiking in hot, dry desert before you reach the amazing water. Can you tell how amazing my husband is? He has a huge pack and mine is so small.

My friend Shelley's pack was about to break her legs so I took it for the last mile. I could hardly stand up with it! I have no idea how she made it that far, what a woman.

So many awesome waterfalls!

The whole crew on the best day ever.

I love the hut they sell frybread out of. We never did see it open.
All in all, and despite Josh's accident, it was an amazing trip! We plan to go again- every 2 years, baby!
