Shaersti is Getting Baptized

Daddy's Boots

Cutest Boy Ever!!!

Christmas Day

Christmas is so much fun! Our kids were so excited. Shaersti woke them all up just as soon as there was light coming through their window.

Waiting in the hallway while I put Christmas Casserole into the oven.

The wrapping paper was just about the best thing for Brigham.

Their last present from us was bunnies. Each of the girls got one.  They have been lovingly named Hopper, Floppy, and Cutie. They are more work than we thought but lots of fun.

Scott loading up just one more garbage sack.

Paysli showing off her new footie jamas.

Brigham reading a book. He loves to pose for the camera. I especially like his pink socks.

Paysli and Briggs enjoying grandpa's candy machine.

This is the awesome Refreshing Beverage Center (or "RBC"). G&G bought this right before the holidays and have kept it fully stocked. It has been so awesome!

The official and highly anticipated Crab Crack on Christmas night.

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve!!!! This is our new Christmas pajamas.

Brigham's slippers are just about my favorite thing ever.

Snuggling Dad

Scott can't ever sit down at our house without a pile of kids on top of him. He is such an awesome dad and our kids love him so much. He gives our kids all the snuggles they could ask for.

Cute Cousins

I could sit and watch these 3 cousins play all day long. They are so super cute together!  Callie, Paysli, and Addi.

So Much Help!

This is Scott attempting to replace a bathroom faucet.

You can't do much around here without 4 kids on top of you.

Organizing

My laundry room has been a mess for a long time. I finally got sick of it and completely organized it. I know I'm a big geek to take a picture, but it has been so nice! Now it's time to tackle the rest of the house!

12-12-12 at 12:12

On 12-12-12 Grandma Jill and I took my little kids and went to Jimmy John's for a  12-inch sandwich, a 12-oz  drink (okay... so we got bigger ones) and to talk about the 12 days of Christmas. Aren't we so creative (okay... so it was Scott's idea)!

Here is Anne on 12-12-12 at 12:12 with her 12-inch sandwich. This won't happen again while I am still alive!

And the baby is a ....

Scott and I went to my ultrasound alone and it was awesome. The baby was moving like crazy and stretching and yawning. We loved to watch it. Afterwards we baked 2 cakes and had a little party to reveal what it was. I let my mom cut the cakes. She cut this one first and was super disappointed when it wasn't blue or pink.

Then she cut this cake and it was PINK. Yes, we are getting another girl!

These are our darling ultrasound pictures.

And here is the revealing, and quite obvious, picture.

Gingerbread Houses

Yet another Emett Family Tradition- gingerbread houses. We have lots of fun and make a huge mess!

This year we got Grandpa Mac and Grandma Karen, too.

We ended up with a few "villages" and the kids loved them so much. They each got their own little house to decorate. Thanks for a fun tradition dad and mom.

Dance Performance

This is Shaersti and Anne's last dance performance with Desert Edge.  Aren't they so cute? They did so awesome!

Shaersti Turns 8

Shaersti is finally 8- and getting baptized soon!  She had a big friend party in the park. We did a big obstacle course and it was super fun.

What's a birthday party if you can't climb a tree?

This was my attempt at making her a dog cake.

She got a 2nd birthday party at grandma's with the family.

And... she got spoiled with dogs. She loves dogs!!!
Shaersti is such a good girl. As long as I'm not asking her to clean, she is incredibly helpful.  She does so much for Brigham and he loves her a ton. She loves school and is super smart and she loves to play with her friends. She reminds me of myself so much, sometimes too much. She is always fun to have around and she surprises me daily with her knowledge of everything. Shaersti- I love you!

Temple Christmas Lights

The whole family went to the temple to see the Christmas lights and nativity. Afterwards we had yummy hot chocolate in the parking lot. Thanks to grandpa and grandma for another fabulous activity!

Briggs loves Christmas lights. Not just loves... he is obsessed with them.

You can't tell, but he is actually looking at the temple. So cool!

Paysli is sporting her winter-wear. We don't get to use it much around here.

Briggs is with his favorite person, grandpa.

Cute girls- Anne, Paysli, Baylie, and Becca

We finally got Shaersti and Anne to slow down and walk with us for a minute.

Paysli enjoying the hat Kolby brought to her from Peru. I loved seeing how many family members wore their Peru hats, what an awesome present.
