My girls and I spent a fabulous 10 days in North Ogden with Scott's family. We did a lot of awesome things and had so much fun! We stayed with Lee and Jill and their cute family. One of the funnest things we did was ride the Front Runner train into Salt Lake. We spent the day there and had tons of fun.
This is Brigham and I riding the train. Just the train ride could have been enough fun for one day!
Heather Richins and some of her kids met us in Salt Lake. After we did some shopping and had lunch at the Gateway mall, we went to a space museum that was lots of fun. These pictures are on another planet (Mars???).
I love this picture with me and my kids. It's kind of crazy that I took 4 kids on a 10 day vacation but it was so wonderful.
Next we went to the church history museum. There were such great things for the kids to do. Paysli learned how to tango in her big spanish skirt!
The kids went fishing off a boat.
And they fed a full dinner to the darling missionary. He was so cute to sit and play with them.
As we were eating dinner, we found out that the Front Runner train had crashed and it was closed. That was our only way to get home! We decided we'd better come up with some more things to do in the hopes of passing the time until the train opened again.
So... we walked around the temple. It was beautiful, but freezing!
Then we went into the visitors center. I loved this picture of my girls looking up at Christ.
Our next stop was the conference center. We had already had a super long day and didn't know if the kids would be interested in the conference center, but we were wrong. It might have been their favorite thing. We went on a full tour and they listened to everything and asked lots of questions. It was awesome.
As we were finishing our tour we found out that the train had opened again and we had a very short amount of time to get there. We grabbed the kids and ran (literally) through downtown Salt Lake to catch the train in time. I was so worried about the kids and they thought it was the most fun they had ever had.
Just the same as in the morning, the kids loved the train!
This is darling Jill with 2 of her girls, Paige and Gracie. We were so glad they took the day off school to come play with us.
Brigham enjoyed the whole day riding in style in his stroller.
Shaersti and Gracie had so much fun together all week- here is a great example of their silliness:
What a cute picture of Paige and Jill!!!
The girls got a little silly at the end of our huge day.
