For quite a few months Anne has had a front tooth that was rotting from the inside out... apparently a rare thing. We ignored it and figured it would just fall out when it was ready. We were wrong! One night she started screaming that her tooth hurt. We tried everything we could to help the pain (we even had Grandpa Scott come over late at night with medicine) but nothing helped. She sobbed and screamed all night. It was terrible. We got her into a dentist first thing in the morning and he pulled both her front bottom teeth. The tooth had opened up right to all the nerves and root. I'm sure it was pretty painful for her. We are grateful to have those teeth gone- she's pretty cute with a few missing teeth!
