The Virgin River is usually just a little lazy river that runs through town. A few days before Christmas it went crazy. It was wiping out all kinds of stuff (luckily no houses) and it was truly amazing to watch. It turned into crazy rapids. I stood on a bike path with my kids and the rapids were lapping at the edge of the cement. As long as it didn't hurt anyone, it was really fun.
