March- Painting

We decided to turn our bland storage underneath the stairs into a reading room. We painted it a variety of bright colors and put a mattress and big pillows under the stairs. Of course, it couldn't have gone perfectly. This is a whole gallon of beautiful blue paint right on our carpet. We were able to clean off a lot of it but it definitely ruined the carpet! We kept a rug over it for about 6 months after and then decided the stain wa easier to deal with than the rug. Someday we will replace the carpet- or splash all of it with blue so it looks like it was on purpose!
