May Cruise

Scott and I had the awesome opportunity to go on a cruise without any kids. We left from Los Angeles and went to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico.

This was on Catalina Island. We loved it so much!

The huge building right on the ocean used to be a casino and is now a community center and theater.

We rented a golf cart and drove around the island.

From the hills we had awesome views of the ocean and our cuise ship.

Our favorite thing we did was a food tour on Catalina (as if the cruise ship wasn't feeding us enough). We went around to the most fancy restaurants and they each fed us a sampling of their best food. It was amazing! Along the way we got a tour of the town and we fell in love with it.

Our next stop was Ensanada. I was not thrilled with it. We went on a tour to La Bufadora. We were on the bus for 45 minutes then we were corralled down this street with Spanish men trying their hardest to sell us their stuff.

At the end of the street was La Bufadora, one of only 3 natural blow holes in the whole world.

We had a lot of fun watching the blowhole explode as the waves came in.

I did enjoy driving through Ensenada (as long as we were safe in the bus) and seeing the different culture in Mexico. We viewed their community center and it had such beautiful features.

This map was in the Ensenada comuunity center.
