| Finding out your dad has cancer is not exactly fun. I'm grateful that he let me be a part of the doctor appointments and surgeries. This is saying goodbye as he is taken back for his surgery to remove the cancer, form a J-pouch and create an iliostamy bag to allow the new J-pouch to heal. |

| He looks pretty good here, although the recovery was pretty rough. |

| If only we had known that he would end up in another surgery to fix a failed J-pouch, we would have really appreciated this belly and this recovery. The great news is that the cancer was completely removed!!! |
