June- More Oregon

Paysli knew that she would be having a birthday while we were on vacation but after a few days she quit asking when it was. It's definitely the first time that one of my kids woke up in the morning not knowing that it was their birthday. 

We traveled further south on Paysli's birthday and ended up in a gross city (Coos Bay) in a gross hotel. We at least went out to dinner to celebrate.

When you're so small that the hand towel can also be a bath towel. 

After a night in Coos Bay, we made our way down to Bandon, one of the best parts of the whole trip. After the last hotel, we splurged on an awesome one. Our favorite thing was the little town where we could walk through shops and catch crabs on the dock. The kids loved the "no pooping" signs. 

The dock provided life jackets for the kids to go crabbing on the dock.

We bought a few traps, hooked meat into them, and started catching crabs. Truthfully... the dads did. The moms and the little kids walked through the shops.

This museum is big awesome crafts that are made out of garbage found on the beach.

That's a lot of kids! We fed them calamari on the dock.

Checking out the menus at the fancy restraunts to decide if it was worth leaving the kids at the hotel for a nice dinner- later we decided that it was!

Our hotel was really close to an awesome beach. We cooked dinner in the room and took it down to the beach and, once again, the kids played in the sand and the cold water.

Brigham and Xavier were hilarious. They got in this position and chucked sand at each other and giggled their heads off.

We ran into Scott's life coach, Brent Wade, at church in Bandon. What a small world! He was with his son golfing. The six of us went to an amazing dinner on the beach at Bandon.

We left the kids at the hotel while we enjoyed a fabulous dinner- a great idea!

The kids thought it was pretty cool when a boat pulled up to the dock.

We don't have many pictures of the trailer we drug so many miles. All of our stuff went into bins and they all got strapped down. Looking back, it was such a silly plan. I must say, though, that it worked.
