Dying Easter Eggs

Dying Easter eggs is one of those traditions that we have stopped doing with the extended family and just do at our own house. I'm not so sure how I feel about that!

Briggs didn't quite get the idea so instead he mutilated eggs until they disintegrated into a really nasty-smelling concoction. He thought it was super cool but we all wanted to puke.

Easter Baskets

I didn't get very great pictures of our kids getting Easter baskets but it was lots of fun.  This is Paysli showing off her treasures.

Anne has already ripped the good stuff off the top.

You gotta love wax lips!

Nap Time

I hadn't heard from Briggs for a while, which usually means he is destroying something. I got nervous and started looking for him. I found him sound asleep on a pile of couch cushions in the basement. Cutest thing ever- and nothing was destroyed!

Valentine Dinner

My whole family got spoiled for Valentines this year. I did the 14 days of Valentine's for all of them. Some days they just got a little treat and some days it was a small toy. On Valentine's I set up this dinner with pasta, heart shaped garlic bread, a heart cake, and "Crush" drinks. They each got a little present and a love note from me. During dinner we told what we loved about each other. It was a pretty fun night and the kids' excitement made all the effort worth it.

Valentine Hair

I had a lot of fun with my girl's Valentine hair this year.

I really like this style and it stayed in so good.

They had to pose!

Brigham

Brigham is always quite a character... and such a boy! He found a squirt bottle and sprayed it straight into his face until he was absolutely drenched.

He looks so innocent. Don't believe it!

Shaersti Gets Baptized

On January 5, 2013 Scott got to baptize Shaersti. It seems a little crazy to have a child old enough to get baptized.
Shaersti looked beautiful and we are super proud of her for a great decision.

I also LOVE having a husband who holds and honors the priesthood.

Since this is my blog, I get to say that I am super blessed to have these two awesome people in my life.
I loved taking Shaersti to the temple to take pictures of her for her baptism.  She was so beautiful and it was one of those pay-days as a mom.
