Light of my Life

Oh Boy do I love this Boy!

Paysli Turns 3

This was Paysli's birthday date with grandma and grandpa. She loved every second of it!

Paysli has quite the personality. She can be super demanding and disobedient but she is mostly sweet and super funny. I have never seen a little kid as naturally funny as she is. She keeps us laughing all the time. I love having her as a daughter and feel so blessed that came to my family.

Paysli got spoiled at her family party.

I was having a hard time coming up with a cake idea. My mom and I brainstormed and I came up with these. I think they turned out so fun and cute and they were super simple.

McDonald's

McDonald's is a pretty favorite hang-out. Where else can you go for cheap food and time to talk while the kids are completely entertained... for 2 hours? I love it- and Briggs loves this ice cream!

We can even get Zac, and sometimes Brooke, to come with us.

Paysli and Grandma are pretty good snuggle-friends.

There is no one in the world Brigg likes better than Grandpa Scott.

And I'm pretty sure grandpa likes him right back.

Grandpa's House

There's just nothing that beats hanging out at grandpa's during the summer.

Maybe that's because you can make all the messes you want!

The Great Gilbert Getaway

Isn't this an awesome burger? My family went up to the Gilbert Reunion a few days early. It was super fun!

I had the opportunity to help my Grandma Sandra put on a reunion. It was lots of work to plan (thank heavens mom helped a lot) and do all the shopping for but it was a really successful reunion and everyone had lots of fun. It was at the Morley cabins in Brian Head.

I had a ton of fun visiting with my darling cousins from Idaho. This is Jon.

The boys mountain biking before everyone came.

A special thanks to Grandma Sandra who paid for everything!

My silly parents. The kids loved crafting!

We played lots of super fun games

What's a party without a little dancing?

Paysli's Toe

When we went up north for Grandma Van's funeral we stayed at Jan's. Shaersti and Anne were going down her slide all morning. It's a really steep slide and it would throw them at the bottom. When Paysli woke up she joined them. On her first time down Shaersti tried to catch her. Paysli ran right into Shaersti with her foot and it split her toe right open. We ended up in the North Ogden Instacare.

She ended up with 5 stitches in her tiny little toe!

Salt Lake City Cemetery

As we were leaving the zoo, we decided to try our luck at finding the Salt Lake City Cemetery. I never realized that so many of the past prophets were buried there and we could get right to their graves. It was really awesome and we spent a lot of time there driving and walking around to look at all the old, unique graves and the past prophets.

I hate to choose favorites... but Hinckley is definitely it!  It was really touching to stand by his grave and know we could be so close. I loved seeing his grave right by Marjorie's.
