Komodo Dragons

We learned about Komodo dragons and the kids each wrote a silly story about a komodo dragon then drew pictures to go with it. They each took a video of them reading their story with their pictures. This is the only one that was short enough to publish on the blog. They were each unique and fun.

Christmas Decorations

I love decorating for Christmas, even though it's quite the chore. It's so much fun to pull out all of our decorations and put the tree up (especially when Scott and Shaersti do it).

This is Anne wearing the tree skirt.

I don't know how many people's house looks like this while they are decorating for Christmas, but ours did this year.

Briggs loved the packing material and showed us by spreading it into every nook and cranny of the house.

The one thing the pictures can't show you is the awesome Christmas music that we always have blaring while we decorate. Scott can't put up the tree without Elvis.

Ahi's

Yay for the Christmas calendar! Going to Ahi's was one of our first things. It's so magical to walk into the restaurant at night with 20+ presents along the tables. We are so spoiled by G&G Emett. I'm so grateful to them that they started and hold to so many awesome traditions.
Brigham stole Anne's costume glasses from her play. He's pretty cute in anything really.

"That's What Friends Are For"

My girls and Becca tried out for a children's play and they all made it. It was such a fun thing to do! Shaersti was the wise old owl, Paysli was a monkey, Becca was a kangaroo, and Anne actually got the lead part of the little girl among the animals. They did great and it was awesome to watch their final play.

Pictures of getting ready in the bathroom. The whole play was about how Ivy (Anne) wanted to be a princess but didn't think she could be because she wears glasses. The animals convince her that she can still be a princess.

This is the whole cast of darling kids.

We have some super great videos of their parts, but they were too large to download.

Co-Op

This is the nursery room at the co-op. We spend a few hours here every week, so I may as well blog a picture of it. There are lots of toys, but nothing is as fun as the shelves!

Our Homeschool Room

This is the school room that we started our homeschool journey in. I wanted to document it before we moved it all into a bigger space. Although smaller, it's definitely still the cutest space!

Big Hero 6

One of the best movies ever- loved it! Thanks G&G Emett for taking us to see it! We are pretty spoiled.
