November- Homeless Kits

The gift that my parents gave us at Ahi's included a challenge to serve someone else. We decided to make homeless kits. It was a great experience.

After a lot of research, these are the things we included in our kits.

We all worked together to make them.

Then we each took a Book of Mormon and included our testimony in the front. I loved so much seeing my kids write their testimonies.

These are our finished bags (the cute bags were part of our gift from Grandma Jill).

We drove to a shelter and happened upon a group of people sitting outside, the exact number of bags we had. We visited with them and gave them our bags. It was a great experience for all of us.
