October Deer Hunt

Deer hunt started with a big adventure when our truck, with all 7 of us AND pulling our trailer, just stopped working as we were headed down the freeway. This is my family getting as far as we could off the freeway to feel safe.

This is our lovely set-up pulled over on the side of the freeway.

The upside is that it was fun to watch our truck get put on the tow truck...

and we got to ride to Beaver in the big cool tow truck.

We had a lot of rescuers that day! Grandpa Mac, who was headed to deer camp himself, picked up Scott and drove him back into St. George. My dad lent us his truck, which Scott drove back to Beaver. And Aunt Pam got us a free room in her hotel. We went to a lovely dinner and even swam in our clothes.

In the morning Aunt Pam sent us with big bags of travel treats. It was so awesome and we were so grateful!

Our trek to deer camp continued the following day in my dad's truck- a much better ride anyway!

We met a HUGE dog at the gas station.

His head is almost as big as Brigham.

We finally made it to deer camp and we had such a great time!

I love this guy!!!

On Sunday we went to a church near Manti and decided to check out the temple.

So pretty!
