Camping

We got to take our new trailer and go camping this weekend. We had a lot of fun. We only planned on camping Friday night and ended up running home and to the store for more stuff so we could stay another night. Zac came with us on Friday night and played with the girls. They were so excited to have him there. He even stayed the night with us and took the girls hiking on Saturday morning. Scott's parents came and had dutch oven with us on Saturday night and it was fun to have them come. A huge storm came through on Saturday but we just hunkered down in the trailer and had a blast.
Isn't Scott a cute "girl" dad?

Even Paysli was a great little camper.

Shaersti and Anne loved every second of everything (even using the trailer toilet)!

Our New Pride and Joy

Scott has been saving any money he can possibly come up with and just bought us this beaut! We have been really excited about it. We got it all cleaned out and washed down and loaded with our stuff. Then awesome Grandma Sandra showed up one day with loads of blankets, towels, dishes, washcloths and other awesome stuff. Thanks, Grandma!

Pretty fun, huh?

Activity Days

My church calling right now is over Activity Days. It's a great calling- play with a group of girls twice per month. I also get to have my little sister in my group which is pretty cool. This was our last activity and I wanted to show off how cute my girls are!

The Best Hiding Place

We had the toaster pulled out of our bread box one day and Anneliese figured out that she can fit in there. I wish I could say this was a one-time thing but, no... they both get in there to hide all the time.

Our LA Trip

For Christmas Scott and I gave each other a vacation. A few weeks ago we got to leave our 3 girls with grandma for 4 days while we went to Los Angeles. Although it was fairly crappy weather, we had such a great time together. We went to Six Flags (where we forgot the camera) and to Universal Studios. I am so blessed to be married to Scott and I love having time with just the two of us, it's a nice reminder of all the reasons we got married.
This was probably our favortite thing we did, indoor skydiving. It's called iFly and now Scott really wants to own one!

Aren't we cute?
We found the coolest candy store in the whole world, I wish I could have taken pics of everything. Here is Marilyn Monroe made out of M&M's.
And this is the world's largest gummy bear.

My shy husband got volunteered to get up on a sound stage and make funny noises, like screaming like a woman, to make a short film. He was actually quite hilarious.
Of course Scott needed his picture byt he Fast and Furious car.

Our "Little" Josh gets Baptized

We entered the "Big Brother, Big Sister" program four and a half years ago. That's when we got our "little" Josh. He has been a big part of our lives and he started coming to church with us right away. He lives in a pretty rough home but he is a great kid considering all things. He turned 12 in November and staretd going to Young Men's. He loves church and decided a few months ago that he wanted to be baptized. We had the opportunity of doing the missionary discussions with him. On January 16th Scott baptized him and my dad confirmed him the next morning. It was a really neat experience. Although there have been some pretty rough times, we are really grateful that he is a part of our lives.

Grandpa's Horse

Grandpa Scott is always looking for things to do with his grand kids. Dusty is the new thing. It's an old horse that grandpa kenneled right close to our houses so we can go ride. The kids love to ride and grandpa and grandma even took all the grandkids riding then to McDonalds last week while all us parents got an awesome date night. Thanks, mom and dad.
I asked Shaersti if Dusty is a boy or girl and she said he must be a boy because dust is supposed to be on boys.
