Camping for General Conference

Over general conference weekend we took our trailer camping in Silver Reef. We have loved this spot before and we loved it again!
Scott and Shaersti gathering firewood on our mini 4-wheeler.
We went on a long hike and obviously took lots of pictures. It was so pretty and the kids had so much fun.

Then we went on another hike...

There are really cool silver mines and this is the nearby kiln.

This Year's Pictures

This was a picture that got taken at Zach and Brooke's wedding. Pretty good family picture for the year.

Paysli
We somehow got this cute picture of just these two
Brigham- He was being really uncooperative and ended  up with more pics, none of them just right.

Linda's Birthday

I don't think I have talked about Linda. She is my 2nd, or 4th, or 5th cousin. :) She lived with my Grandma Sandra and sort of became the responsibility of my mom and I when grandma died. We helped to put her into a home called Temple View and she has been quite happy there. She just turned 56 and we all went to her house and took cake and presents and my dad played some songs on his guitar (her favorite thing in the world). She was pretty tickled!

White Board Wall

This was the latest creation in my new house. I have wanted a white board and a magnet board in our craft room for my kids to create and to hang all those projects that I don't want on my fridge. I was in Walmart when all of the school supplies were on sale and I ran across these boards. They were still a little more than I wanted to pay but I was in love with the idea, so I bought some and hung them up. They were so fabulous that I looked for more a few days later. I just happened to run into a manager and I offered to buy 20 more if he would lower the price. So I walked away with them at only $1 each and that included 2 markers and 2 magnets each. It was the coolest thing ever and I love our new board.

Anneliese Turns 7

Although she still looks like she's 5, our little Anneliese just turns 7...and she had lots of parties to prove it.
Party #1- Cake and ice cream at grandma's house

Don't forget the presents

Party #2- Family party for breakfast on her actual birthday

Party #3- Okay, so this really wasn't a party. I had a relief society activity at our house so Scott and the kids got kicked out on Anne's birthday. They had lots of fun getting diner and playing at the park with their dad.

Party #4- Her friend party. She invited a few little cute friends to her "Art" Party and we had lots of fun with them. We decorated these huge cupcakes...

then we did some fun art projects in the craft room. They drew pictures and painted frames.

This is how the pictures turned out, they were pretty cute. Then we put their pictures into the frame they painted.
